I am meeting with a doctor next week about weight loss surgery and I was wondering if anyone went through this and can give me some pointers.I have a BMI of 40 and really need this surgery. Any tips? or personal stories? Thank you!

I was just wondering how you do not go to severely underweight after having a weight loss surgery. Because my moms friend got one and has become really skinny, so how do you stop losing weight once you have reached your goal weight?

I have recently decided to seriously look into getting weight loss surgery and would like to know what my first step should be. Do I need to check with insurance or see the doctor first? What kind of doctor do I call? What kind of appointment do I need to make?

I am having weight loss surgery November 27. I have Obstructive Sleep Apnea (I sleep with a BiPap machine already) and it’s getting worse and I am not losing weight fast enough for the Dr’s and really need to have it. they said this will alleviate the problem and of course I will be thin again. So do any of you have any advice or stories about your WLS that you’d like to share with me? or possible recipes that you used.
